Confession time: there was a figure inserted (digitally, because of scale issues) in the background of the original "wedding photo" from episode #28, but it wasn't Squidman. It was made a year before the Space Police III line was released! The original figure was a random spacedude whose role has since been taken up by Squidman.

Don't think of it as a retcon exactly, it's just that I hadn't actually cast the role yet. Besides, you can't tell at all from the finished image in the original episode, it's too small!
