Knowing if weight is in pounds (imperial) or kilos (metric) is important: 2 kilograms equals 4.4 pounds. Chief Texas' explosives "expert" used twice as much explosive as he should have done!

Imperial/metric unit confusion isn't far fetched either -- in 1998 NASA lost a probe because of it!

And for those of you who will tell me that both two pounds or two kilos is either too much or too little explosive anyway: in the comic, they are using some futuristic explosive material of which two pounds is the the perfect amount to use to blow open a door. It just looks like a stick of dynamite.
