Transcript
- Panel 1: Admiral Slog and Commandant Thalamus are still having a meeting.
- Admiral Slog:
- So, tell me about the Chandelier Project, and why it is so named?
- Commandant Thalamus:
- We shall be "Illuminating the Universe with Science."
- Admiral Slog:
- How, exactly?
- Commandant Thalamus:
- By building one of the most powerful computers ever known.
- Panel 2:
- Commandant Thalamus:
- It will enable scientists to collaborate on more complex and computationally demanding research than ever before.
- Admiral Slog:
- Ahh, that's why you want access to our bigger dish network?
- How far have you got with the project?
- Panel 3:
- Commandant Thalamus:
- As we speak, Doctor Medulla is back on Cynaptix IV working on a prototype interface upon whom, uh… with which, we can test the basic system.
- We are, however, still trying to iron out some of the kinks.
- Panel 4:
- Admiral Slog:
- Okay, well good luck with that, I look forward to a progress report.
- So, "illuminating the Universe with Science," huh? Who thought that one up?
- Commandant Thalamus:
- {{Sigh}} The marketing department thought it sounded catchy.
- We are thinking of declaring Marketing a non-science and having them all report to the Medical Research Facility.
