Isaac and Major Tom's journey to Cynaptix IV is turning into one of those road movies where everything that can go wrong, does go wrong!

That's the most ridiculous ship I could find. It's another one of the Alien Conquest theme UFOs (Alien Striker). It's probably not really meant to go into outer-space, just buzz around in atmosphere. Oh well.

The bright pink spacesuits were made in a seriously misguided attempt to appeal to girls thinking of a career in the Space Agency -- not taking into account that a) not all girls like pink, b) not all people who do like pink are girls, and c) it still needs to be practical! Several hundred suits were made, but they ended up not being used in regular service

Panel 1: Isaac, Major Tom and the Mechanic are standing in front of an unseen spaceship.

Isaac:

What a piece of junk!

Mechanic:

She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid.

Panel 2: The spaceship is reveal as being a tiny, one-man, sit-on, exposed to the elements type craft.

Mechanic:

By which I mean, she's all you can afford.

Panel 3: As Isaac begins to complain, Major Tom puts his hand on his mouth to stop him

Isaac:

What. A. Piece. Of. {{muffled}} Mmphff

Major Tom:

Can I assume that she's completely space-worthy?

Mechanic:

She has a certificate and everything.

Panel 4:

Major Tom:

Fine, we'll take her.

Isaac:

We will?

Mechanic:

I'll even throw in a couple of space suits.

Panel 5: Major Tom is piloting the craft, which has left the Service Asteroid, wearing a white space-suit. Isaac, is clinging on to the back of the craft, wearing a bright pink spacesuit.

Isaac:

This spacesuit may not be Space Agency regulation, but I find it surprisingly comfy.

Although the colour does clash with my hair...

...And there are no pockets!

Major Tom:

Yeah, I can't imagine why it was never approved.
