Seaweed tea is the signature non-alcoholic drink of Teuthida. Its signature alcoholic drink is also seaweed based. A visit to the planet isn't complete without sampling some, and it gets sold by the shed-load in the spaceport Duty Free shops. When holiday-makers get it back home, they try it once in an attempt to recapture the holiday spirit, and then consign it to the back of the cupboard where it gets forgotten about for the next ten years.
