Episode Notes

There really is a tradition of cats in Downing Street (Prime Minister's official residence), and it even has an official title of Chief Mouser to the Cabinet Office - the current title holder is called Larry.

Oh and Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, if you've not heard of it.

Yesterday was the last ever launch of the space shuttle (Atlantis), so I sat down with mum to watch it live on NASA TV. As ever, it was awesome to watch and the view from the camera attached to the fuel-tank is really cool. It is simply stunning as the flat land gradually recedes and becomes an unmistakable globe shape. While watching, I realised how mind-blowing it is that right now, I (and mum, and billions of others) are on the receding blue marble that I'm looking at on screen -- all happening live.

Farewell Atlantis, and good luck. See you in twelve days.
