Episode Notes

This is perhaps my most political episode to date. My inspiration for it was the type of people who spout bigoted, prejudiced, stereotyped views about various groups and people, while completely missing the non-stereotypes within their midst. Or if they are aware, they brush it off with an "oh, not you, mate, of course, not you, you're alright, you're one of us".

Panel 1: Two spacedudes are having a conversation while working.
White-suited Spacedude:
I hear the Agency is bringing in a bunch of Martians as part of their 'Inter-Planetoid Relations' initiative.
Blue-suited Spacedude:
It's political correctness gone mad! Next we'll be expected to work a 687 day year and eat weird food.
Caption:
Actually it's 686.9726 days using 24-hour Earth days.
Panel 2:
White-suited Spacedude:
They're all the same you know. Can't trust 'em with anything.
Blue-suited Spacedude:
It's not just the Martians! You can't trust any one of that non-human lot.
White-suited Spacedude:
If they come here, I'm leaving. Then, when this place has been taken over by them, I can say "I told you so."
Blue-suited Spacedude:
Hey, here comes Bob!
Panel 3: Bob, a green-skinned alien, passes by on his hovercraft.
Blue-suited Spacedude:
Hi Bob, wanna come over to watch the footie tonight?
Bob:
Sure, I'll bring some of my wife's lasagne.
White-suited Spacedude:
Bob's a great bloke, isn't he? A proper decent bloke, the sort we like around here.
Panel 4: A close-up on Bob.
Bob:
I don't know what hurts the most? Is it that they say those things, or that they just haven't noticed?
