I've started adding transcripts to comics. Currently only new comics will have transcripts, but gradually I'll add transcripts to the archives. You can choose to "Show" or "Hide" transcripts, which will save a cookie to your browser ("Show stores the cookie, "Hide" deletes it). Transscripts are visible on the episode pages (permalinks) only, and not on the home page.
We've actually reached episode #200. Yay, me! Coincidentally this is the last episode before I head off on holiday for a week - so I thought I'd leave you with something earth-shattering... literally!
Those of you with long-memories (or on an archive binge) have probably realised why Slog would probably not have recognised Hudson -- he always referred to her as "him" and so as far as he is concerned, this Hudson is a different person. Episodes #14 and #22 illustrate this.
As for what's talked about in the first panel, I just thought it was funny to imagine the famous footprints on the moon being preserved for all eternity, only for them not to be the original footprints at all. With one space-boot looking pretty much the same as another, who would know?
The globe in the final panel is a CAD render of a buildable LEGO globe found here. I did borrow an actual brick globe a couple of years ago (for a display of Vogons!), but I didn't have the forethought to take suitable photographs of it for a comic storyline I hadn't written yet!
Finally, while I'm away, you'll still get your fix of Tranquility Base thanks to some cool guest authors.
