I've started adding transcripts to comics. Currently only new comics will have transcripts, but gradually I'll add transcripts to the archives. You can choose to "Show" or "Hide" transcripts, which will save a cookie to your browser ("Show stores the cookie, "Hide" deletes it). Transscripts are visible on the episode pages (permalinks) only, and not on the home page.
Mwaa ha ha haa! Were you expecting Ensign Hudson? Sorry - I did a bait-and-switch.
I hope it's clear that in the last panel, the green "outgoing" signal is from the pictured Blip, and the red "incoming" signal is from another (unseen) Blip?
Today's episode title is a paraphrasing of a line from Shakespeare's Macbeth (Act III, Scene V):
Security is mortals' chiefest enemy.
It is referring to a sense of false-security, or complacency - specifically, Macbeth's.
