Episode #122: Thank you, you've been a wonderful audience
Here's how it is...
No, this isn't a joke. I really am stopping Tranquility Base. I've been kidding myself that I'll get back to it for a few weeks now, but it doesn't look like I will.
The thing is, it takes quite a lot of preparation and effort to prepare each episode, and often that includes building a set you only see a small part of. That would be fine if I had space to leave Tranquility Base up on permanent basis, but I don't.
Furthermore, I've done more MOC building while I haven't been doing the comic - and that is why we're LEGO fans, right? I'm working on a big MOC right now for a display in October.
Finally, part of the reason I went on hiatus in the first place is because Real Life Work got in the way, and it looks like it will again in the forseeable future.
So, I decided that Tranquility Base will end as a regularly scheduled comic. It might - might - return as an occasional one-off. Perhaps to mark important events and such. Or to complain about The LEGO Group :-)
Or maybe as a full-length feature film... that would be shiny!
