Episodes now with transcripts

I've started adding transcripts to comics. Currently only new comics will have transcripts, but gradually I'll add transcripts to the archives. You can choose to "Show" or "Hide" transcripts, which will save a cookie to your browser ("Show stores the cookie, "Hide" deletes it). Transscripts are visible on the episode pages (permalinks) only, and not on the home page.

It's an old joke, but one the robots love. This is, of course, another guest appearance by Peter Reid's (legoloverman) robots.

"Why is there a midweek comic?" I hear you ask. Well, Wednesay 27th August will be the one-year anniversary of this comic and I want to get 52 episodes out by then (call it "Volume One"). However, there were a couple of months' hiatus near the start of the comic, which means that for the next six weeks I'll be doing two episodes per week. There will be a single-panel comic on a Wednesday (or Thursday, in this case) and the proper four-panel comic on a Saturday; although I won't stick stictly to that pattern (episode 52 falls mid-week, so will be full-length).

Isn't that a lot of work? Not much more: I create the comics in batches, upload them to my database and they get published on specified dates - with the power of PHP and the mighty force of CRON!!

Will there be a 'Volume Two'? Sure, but the schedule will go back to being weekly.
