I've started adding transcripts to comics. Currently only new comics will have transcripts, but gradually I'll add transcripts to the archives. You can choose to "Show" or "Hide" transcripts, which will save a cookie to your browser ("Show stores the cookie, "Hide" deletes it). Transscripts are visible on the episode pages (permalinks) only, and not on the home page.
Well, why does it always rain in film noir?
This is our first introduction to Bladewood, the shadowy, secret organisation working out of Tranquility Base.
Bladewood is apparently also the name of an Elven wood in the online game World of Warcraft. It's too late to change it in my comic now, and besides, I like the name, it serves its purpose as being an amalgum of Torchwood and Blade Runner.
The rain is a digital effect using random "snow" and motion blur. I was going to photograph actual rain, or water coming out of a shower head, but honestly, I don't think the end reuslt would be much different.
