Episodes now with transcripts

Posted: 1 month ago

I've started adding transcripts to comics. Currently only new comics will have transcripts, but gradually I'll add transcripts to the archives. You can choose to "Show" or "Hide" transcripts, which will save a cookie to your browser ("Show stores the cookie, "Hide" deletes it). Transscripts are visible on the episode pages (permalinks) only, and not on the home page.

This is the final part of a 3 part series that started here.

Hurrah! From highbrow literature to good old fashioned toilet humour and an excuse to print "arse" in public. Better still, it won't get picked up by search engines or blocked by "will nobody think of the children!" filters. Oh... it will now I've written here...

Shock shock horror horror! Ensign Hudson is a female of the species! One that looks remarkably like Mary Jane Watson - I just liked the reversible head expression.

The reason for the earlier retcon in relation to Ensign Hudson's uniform should now be clear -- orange hair and a red uniform would clash horribly! When I first introduced the character, I hadn't planned on Hudson being female or that she'd have orange hair.

This episode finishes the transporter accident story and establishes further the situation between Slog (a clueless idiot) and Hudson (smart, sassy, long-suffering; although, come to think of it, a bit of an idiot too if she pines after Slog).

Panel two, second word bubble, "women" should be "woman".

    Just helpin' out! :)

Maybe she should see if she can confuse the captain for some fun. Anyway, how can anybody tell who is in a spacesuit without some kind of markings or call sign? The vox systems on those suits are either terrible or our girl here has a rather masculine voice. ;)

      Also corrected, thanks.

As for Hudson's femininity - it's more a case of Slog not paying much attention, visually or aurally.
